Empowering women with the TRUTH of their identity and worth in Christ

The battle we face…

Domestic abuse or intimate partner violence consists of various forms of abuse including, but not limited to, physical, sexual, verbal, emotional/psychological, and financial control/abuse. Abuse occurs when someone’s behavioral patterns are used to gain and maintain control over another. Often times, there are multiple forms of abuse within toxic relationships, which can be difficult to identify. Psychological abuse can be harder to detect as a result of the manipulative tactics of the abuser. Psychological and verbal abuse combine to form a silent epidemic that is much more subtle than physical abuse. According to Domestic Shelters, 48.4% of women have experienced psychological abuse.

What you have experienced may feel common or maybe even your “normal,” but it should never be an acceptable way of life. You are worthy of authentic love, care, faithfulness, and safety-no matter your past.

Women who have experienced abuse for extended periods of time eventually begin to believe the lies and insults attacking their self-confidence, intelligence, worth, and even identity.

Many women hide the fact that they are being abused due to shame the abuse has produced.

Unfortunately, the psychological devastation in relationships is often accompanied and intensified by dealing with the addictions and/or infidelity of a significant other.  The grueling effects of such situations permeate every facet of day to day life creating issues with confidence, decision making, parenting, difficulty trusting others, overall wellbeing, and the list goes on...

Even in the wake of emotional calamity, there is HOPE.

In Christ, beauty WILL rise from the ashes.  The word of God promises that He is FAITHFUL, He is TRUSTWORTHY, He LOVES YOU, and He has your BEST INTEREST at heart!

The Ezer Kenegdo Foundation is dedicated to facilitating healing by empowering women with the TRUTH of their identity and UNCHANGING worth in Christ!
